Premiership Pundits Results Pt.4
April 6, 2010
Looks like Lawro had a week off from his predictions (well I can’t find them on the bizarrely organised BBC site), Andy Gray had a nightmare with only 40% accuracy and Huw didn’t fare much better, only predicting 50% of the results. Despite Mark Lawrenson predicting the least number of matches he’s still top of the table with a 65% accuracy.

Premiership Pundits Results Pt.3

Huw had a mare, but Mark Lawrenson had a good week, correctly predicting six out of the nine results. The pundits are now pretty even across the board at 66% accuracy rate.

Battle of the Premiership Pundits. Week Three.
March 26, 2010
Last week was a bad one for all the pundits but for Mark Lawrenson in particular who now has a success rate of just 64%…

Battle of the Pundits Results pt.2
March 22, 2010
Tough week for Mark Lawrenson, only correctly predicting five out of ten games. I’m taking the predictions on a Friday so Andy’s Sunday picks aren’t being included at the moment, but he now leads the ranking with an accuracy of 72%.

Battle of the Premiership Pundits: The Result

Pretty impressive predictions all round. Andy Gray only predicted four matches, but he got all the results correct. Lawro got one wrong, but he did predict the correct score for the Sunderland v Man City game. Huw also got one wrong, but he doesn’t make correct score predictions.
Next week I think I’ll pay a little more attention to the pundits, maybe they do know what they’re talking about!
Battle of the Premiership Pundits
March 12, 2010
There are a tonne of games this weekend across all the leagues, so if you are having trouble seeing the wood for the trees, this is how the pundits (BBC’s Mark Lawrenson, Betfair’s Andy Gray and FourFourTwo.com’s Huw Davies) think the Premiership matches will end up.
| Match | Lawro | Andy Gray | Huw Davis | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tottenham v Blackburn | 2-0 | 3-0 | Spurs | Bet Now |
| Birmingham v Everton | 1-1 | 1-1 | Draw | Bet Now |
| Burnley v Wolves | 2-1 | - | Wolves | Bet Now |
| Chelsea v West Ham | 2-0 | 2-0 | Chelsea | Bet Now |
| Hull v Arsenal | 0-2 | 1-3 | Arsenal | Bet Now |
| Man Utd v Fulham | 2-0 | - | Man Utd | Bet Now |
| Sunderland v Man City | 1-1 | - | Man City | Bet Now |
Lawro’s predictions have been pretty solid in the past so it’ll be interesting to see how it pans out. Nobody backing my beloved West Ham to beat Chelsea then… strange.
